Aloha guys, how are you? I hope this article finds you well. Hihihi..

uk slang (1)

Well, these are some UK slang. Enjoy!

~ Dear John Letter = surat putus (Ingat lagu milik Taylor Swift yang berjudul Dear John? Oke, artinya kurang lebih sama, sama-sama putus cinta. Hehehe)
Contoh : I gave him a dear john letter two days ago. It’s over now. | Aku memberinya surat putus dua hari yang lalu. Semuanya berakhir sekarang.

~Crabby = mudah marah (Jangan kaitkan dengan Crabby Patty!)
Contoh : Rena is a crabby, she can get angry with no reason | Rena itu pemarah, dia bisa marah tanpa alasan

Jacked = dicuri
Contoh : My handphone got jacked while I was shopping at the market | Handphone saya dicuri ketika berbelanja di pasar

~ Shoot off  = buru-buru pergi
Contoh : I’m just going to shoot off down to the post office before it closes | Aku bakal buru-buru ke kantor pos sebelum mereka tutup

~ Avvy = sore hari
Contoh : We are going to the cinema this avvy, wanna come? | Kita mau ke bioskop sore ini, ikut?

~ Blabbermouth = tukang gosip
Contoh : I don’t trust any information from Lisa, she’s a blabbermouth | Aku nggak percaya informasi apapun dari lisa, dia cuma tukang gosip

Okay guys, mungkin cukup sekian ya untuk UK slang bagian I kali ini. Tunggu kehadiran bagian II segera ~ Have a nice day!
