Livy went to the zoo with her mum and dad. Her mum brought some sandwiches for lunch. Her dad brought the camera. They went to see the giraffes first, and Lizzy's dad took some photos. Next, they went to see the monkeys. She had a really great day with her parents.

The Statue of Liberty is probably the most famous icon of the USA. It was built to celebrate the end of slavery, and later became a symbol for freedom among immigrants. The statue depicts Libertas, the Roman goddess of liberty. And the torch she carries high above her outstretched arm represents a light that guides people along the path to freedom. Interestingly, however, Liberty looks different from the way the designer first intended.
Andy's best friend is Bingo. Andy is a nine-year-old boy, and Bingo is a ten-year-old dog. Andy and Bingo are inseparable. They teach each other things, and they look after each other. Bingo has helped Andy become more responsible, caring, and friendlier. Andy and Bingo are examples of how owning a dog can positively affect a child's development. Having a dog develops a child's sense of responsibility, broadens his capacity for empathy, and teaches the nature of friendship.
